The Careers programme
At Stowupland High School we are committed to developing a stable careers education, information and guidance programme which is embedded within the school curriculum and is known and understood by students, parents/carers and employers. We work closely with a Careers Enterprise Coordinator who helps schools and colleges to improve their careers and enterprise activities and to engage with the world of work through Enterprise Advisors. We are also using guidance from The Careers & Enterprise Company to achieve the ‘Gatsby Benchmarks’ which are a framework of eight guidelines that define the elements of an excellent careers programme.
