2nd October 2017: Mural Unveiling

It was lovely to visit Freeman Primary School last Saturday for their School Fair and the official unveiling of a mural painted by Phoebe Neil (GCSE Art, 2017). Phoebe and others worked during the summer holiday to provide a really colourful entrance to the Early Years area and the mural is clearly very much appreciated. PPG sponsored the painting and they are keen to support colourful projects in all schools, so food for thought as we approach the first meeting of the School Council ……

25 September 2017: Rights, Responsibilities and Respect

The first assemblies of the term have been the opportunity to reinforce the core values of the school:
Rights, Responsibilities and Respect. Older students reflected on the anniversary of the 9/11 atrocity
and younger students were shown the importance of thinking before speaking: words, once said,
cannot easily be taken back.
