Admissions for Year 6 Transferring to Year 7
Stowupland High school is an Academy, and a founding school of the John Milton Academy Trust. Admission arrangements for Year 6 students moving into Year 7 are conducted, on our behalf, by Suffolk County Council.
Prospective parents must follow their identified procedures when applying for places for new intakes. A map of the school’s catchment area can be found below or by contacting the Local Education Authority. As a guide, our main feeder primary schools are Bacton, Cedars Park, Crawfords, Freeman, Mendlesham and Old Newton.

Admissions for 2021-22
Admissions for 2021-22 will be subject to the Admissions Policy for the John Milton Academy Trust. The 2021-22 policy has been included in the Local Authority admissions details.

Admissions for 2022-23
Admissions for 2022-23 will be subject to the Admissions Policy for the John Milton Academy Trust. The 2022-23 policy has been included in the Local Authority admissions details.

SEPTEMBER 2021 INTAKE
The national closing date for applications is Saturday 31st October 2020. All applications should be made to Suffolk County Council. The easiest and most secure way to apply for a school place is online at www.suffolk.gov.uk/admissions.
The National Offer day is Monday 1st March 2021 and you will receive notification by email or letter from Suffolk County Council.
