Y7 catch-up Funding
Stowupland became an 11-18 school in September 2015. For the 2018-19 cohort the school received £19,394 in March 2018. Spending to date includes the Hackney Reading and Learning Project, Reading Assessments, and focused numeracy resources to assist with reading skills and literacy, and specialist staffing to support intervention activities in Maths and Numeracy.
The Year 7 Catch-up Funding supports students who may not have reached a level average score of 100 in either English and/or Maths at the end of Year 6. The funding is specifically directed to the best strategies to fully boost these students up to a level in which they can achieve their best possible progress.
